The Ear and Balance Institute is a medical practice dedicated to the practice of Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery.  We specialize in the treatment of ear and skull base disorders.  We have particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of inner ear disorders causing vertigo, hearing loss, tinnitus and balance disorders.

Our physicians are nationally recognized experts in the field and have been the recipients of local, regional and national research grants dedicated to the study of inner ear disorders.

While our physicians are very active clinically in treating patients, they are also experienced as expert witnesses in legal proceedings.  From 1999 through 2004 they directed and taught the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery course "Evaluation of Dizziness in the Litigating Patient".  In this course, they lectured to physicians from around the country on how best to evaluate litigating patients and how best to present themselves as expert witnesses.  As expert witnesses, we offer one of the most thorough evaluations you will find anywhere in the country.  We also offer an unbiased opinion regarding diagnosis, causation and prognosis.  Our client list includes roughly equal proportions of plaintiff and defense counsels.
